7 Days Kenya safari Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Arrival at the JKIA and your driver will meet you to transfer you to the Nairobi hotel. Check in to your hotel and relax awaiting the 7 days Kenya safari departure.

Depending on your arrival time, you may explore some city attractions, such as the Karen Blixen Museum, the Giraffe Centre, and Bomas of Kenya, or enjoy a Kenyan meal at the Carnivore restaurant.

Day 2: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, depart from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park, located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. You will arrive at around noon where you will check in to your lodge, take lunch then evening game drive

Enjoy a game drive in the park, where you can spot elephants, lions, buffalos, and other wildlife against the backdrop of Kilimanjaro.

Overnight stay in a lodge or camp within Amboseli.

Day 3: Amboseli National Park

Spend the full day in Amboseli National Park.

Morning and afternoon game drives to maximize wildlife sightings.

Optional visit to a local Maasai village to learn about their culture and traditions.

Day 4: Amboseli to Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its stunning birdlife, including flamingos. Today it is a long drive but the views along the countryside are worth it. You will take lunch en route at Nairobi and arrive in the late afternoon.

You will arrive at the lodge in the late afternoon, check into your lodge, and relax.

Overnight stay in a lodge or camp near Lake Nakuru.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara National Reserve

Early morning breakfast then leave with picnic lunch to the game drive at the Lake Nakuru national park.

After lunch, you will drive to the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, home to the Great Migration and an incredible concentration of wildlife.

You will arrive in the evening for dinner and an Overnight stay in a lodge or camp within Maasai Mara.

Day 6: Maasai Mara National Reserve

Spend the whole day exploring the Maasai Mara.

Early morning and afternoon game drives to witness the diverse wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino).

Optional hot air balloon safari at sunrise for a unique perspective (this usually requires an additional cost and prior booking).

Day 7: Maasai Mara to Nairobi and Departure

Have a final morning game drive in Maasai Mara.

After breakfast, depart for Nairobi.

Depending on your departure time, you may have a farewell lunch in Nairobi or do some last-minute shopping for souvenirs. 

The driver will drop you at the airport to catch your flight back home.
